The Corolla E100 was the seventh generation on cars sold via Toyota under the Corolla nameplate. This generation on Corolla was larger, heavier, also visually extra aerodynamic than the representation it replaced. In North America, the Corolla was recent for the 1993 representation year. In delayed 1992, New Zealand-assembled E100 Corollas were introduced to the New Zealand market. These vehicles were assembled at Toyota's Thames factory.
